Testimonials

Some Frequently Asked Questions

1. What happens during a general dentistry checkup?

Dental checkups involve a thorough examination of the teeth and gums by the dentist to detect any abnormalities. X-rays are recommended once a year to detect internal problems that cannot be seen with the naked eye. Moreover, a general dentist can provide recommendations on how to improve oral and dental health.

2. Is a regularly scheduled dental checkup that important?

Regular dental visits will help keep your teeth and mouth healthy, as well as the rest of your body. The benefits of regular dental visits are as follows:

  • Prevent decaying of the teeth
  • It helps prevent the loss of teeth and bone caused by periodontal disease (gum disease)
  • Brushing, flossing, and seeing the dentist regularly can reduce the number of bacteria in your mouth that causes bad breath.
  • It increases your self-confidence and gives you a more attractive smile
  • Keeps teeth looking bright by preventing food, drinks, and tobacco from staining them
  • It makes your teeth stronger so you can enjoy healthy, beautiful smiles for the rest of your life!
3. Do you take emergency appointments?

Call the practice at 623-487-4870 as soon as possible. You can count on us to help you in any way we can. The earlier in the day you call, the more likely you are to be seen that same day and at a time that is convenient for you. If the practice is closed and you cannot wait until opening time, call and listen to the answer phone message to find out how to access our out-of-hours emergency service.

4. Do you accept Insurance?

CareCredit® Financing is available for patients seeking convenient monthly payments in accordance with their budgets. You can get the financial help and care you need with CareCredit® without delaying your appointments or treatments. CareCredit® can also be used for future purchases without having to reapply. Please visit our portal to learn about Care Credit or apply.

5. How Can One Prevent Cavities?

Good oral hygiene can reduce the occurrence of plaque in the mouth, thereby preventing cavities. First, brush your teeth twice a day and floss daily. Also, patients should reduce their sugar intake, especially in foods like candies, chips, fruits, and crackers. The bacteria that cause damage to the mouth feed on sweet and sticky foods. The importance of regular dental checkups and cleanings cannot be overstated.
